Early Life & Education
Dr. Patrick Hsu grew up in Short Hills, New Jersey, and began his training at Rutgers College where he received a Bachelor of Science. He received his medical degree from the UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. There, he graduated as the president of his class with the highest honors and distinction.
Following medical school graduation, Dr. Hsu attended the prestigious Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, regarded as one of the most rigorous and competitive programs in the country for surgical training.
Fellowship
His compassion for breast cancer survivors began during his fellowship at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson. Inspired, he took a second fellowship in Microsurgery at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. There, he received extensive training in reconstructive surgery and focused on advanced breast reconstruction techniques.
Medical Career
Memorial Plastic Surgery was established in 2013 with the goal of providing state-of-the-art medical care to patients in the greater Houston Area. Today, Memorial Plastic Surgery is one of the leading plastic surgery practices in Texas. The practice has two offices; in Memorial City and nearby Clear Lake, Webster.
Additional Training
Dr. Hsu regularly travels the world to learn the latest trends and techniques. In 2014, he ventured to South Korea to learn from the team at JW Plastic Surgery Korea. He learned Asian cosmetic techniques, as well as advancements in facial cosmetic surgery and transaxillary breast augmentation.
