Botox and Dysport Injection

One of our goals at Memorial Plastic Surgery is to help slow down the aging process, allowing you to look and feel your best. At The Memorial Spa, we offer non-surgical treatment options, such as Botox® and Dysport®, to prevent and correct fine lines and wrinkles. These neurotoxin injections help reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles by targetting its underlying causes, allowing for a more youthful and rejuvenated look, with minimal to no downtime!

How Do Neurotoxin Injections Work?

Botox® & Dysport® are both FDA-approved injectables used to smoothen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These neurotoxins reduce and prevent facial wrinkles by blocking neurotransmitters, which limits the ability for specific muscles to contract. This allows wrinkles and fine lines caused by many years of repeated muscle movement to soften over time.

There is minimal pain involved in this treatment, but depending on your pain tolerance, topical numbing cream or ice can be used before your procedure. Using a fine needle, small amounts of diluted Botox® or Dysport® are injected into specific muscles. More than one area can be treated, depending on the extent of facial wrinkles and needed correction.

Botox & Dysport Cost

Neurotoxin treatments vary in price, depending on the location and your injector’s experience. In Houston, at The Memorial Spa, a treatment of Botox® is $15.00 per unit and $5.00 per unit for Dysport®. Your total cost will depend on the target areas and the number of treatments needed to attain your aesthetic goal. Please contact our office today to schedule a consultation.
