Dr. Tang Ho is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Houston, Texas, who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures exclusively to the head, face, and neck. Dr. Ho is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, making him one of the only select few to hold this distinction.

He is known for his elegant artistry and technical expertise to create natural, aesthetic results with nearly invisible scarring, using the most specialized techniques and innovative technology. His meticulous approach and ability to successfully take on complex facial cosmetic and reconstructive cases has made him one of the most sought-after facial plastic surgeons by an extensive clientele across the United States and internationally.

Over his 18 year career, Dr. Ho has received numerous awards and recognitions as one of the top facial plastic surgeons in the country. Dr. Ho specializes in facial rejuvenation procedures, including facelift, neck lift, brow lift, lip lift, chin augmentation, buccal fat removal, rhinoplasty, septoplasty, blepharoplasty (upper/lower eyelid surgery), as well as facial reanimation procedures for patients with facial paralysis, reconstructive surgery for skin cancer defects and complex microvascular reconstruction. He is also a firm believer in integrating a variety of non-surgical procedures, including Botox/Dysport and dermal fillers, to achieve optimal anti-aging results.

Education

Dr. Ho received his medical degree from the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, and completed his Otolaryngology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then completed his fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the John Hopkins School of Medicine. Prior to embarking on a career in medicine, Dr. Ho was a U.S. Fullbright Scholar to the United Kingdom, where he received his master’s degree in sociology from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.

Academic Career

Dr. Ho is a passionate educator and has held several teaching positions at various medical institutions and schools. Since 2013, he has been a volunteer lecturer at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center for the Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program under the Department of Plastic Surgery. In 2018, he began serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. Dr. Ho also takes part in weekly mentoring programs at the Resident Education conferences and is a lecturer at The Osler Institute Board Review Course.
